I have spent my life as a physical therapist and dog trainer, but in 2022, the “veil” began to lift. I discovered that dogs aren’t just animals; they are angelic support entities. When I laid my soul-dog, Tori, to rest on her favorite training field, the pain was unbearable. My heart was fractured, and I fled into the house because I couldn’t bear to watch the earth cover her.

Amidst my sobbing, I experienced something that defied all physical logic. I suddenly felt a wet, dirty nose pressed against my face. Looking up, I could vaguely see her—that signature “cheesy grin” she always wore—and she licked my nose one final time.

In that moment, Tori wasn’t just saying goodbye; she was showing me that her mission was ongoing. She had transitioned, but our Soul Contract was still very much alive. She was a spiritual master who had sacrificed her physical form to hold my pain and darkness so that I didn’t have to.
